Eagle FC blanked Merhulietsa FC 3-0 on Saturday in the last match of Game Week-9 of the ongoing 11th Morning Premier League (MPL) 2026 at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Lithung opened the account for Eagle FC in the 18th minute, who later connected his second goal for the team in the 60th minute. Bipemo also contributed goal for the team in the 33rd minute.
Till the completion of Game Week-9 on April 11, Vanguard FC (Old Boys) topped the league table with 30 points.
