24th T20 WCC: GAPYOCC & Tritons CC registers wins

Wokha, January 11 (MExN): GAPYOCC and Tritons CC won their respective matches  on the second day of the ongoing 24th T20 Winter Cricket Challenge in Wokha.

In the first match played between GAPYOCC scored on emphatic 100 runs victory over Forest Sporting Club.

A superb knock of 103 runs by Tapitu, with additional contributions from Lijanbemo and Nchumbemo with 31 and 21 runs respectively resulted in a huge total of 178 for GAPYOCC.

In reply, Forest SC were bowled out in 13.4 overs with 110 runs still on target. 

In the second match of the day, Tritons CC defeated Hercules CC by 47 runs.

Winning the toss and opting to bat, Triton's CC scored a total of 161 runs, losing 5 wickets in the process.

Meysanen 42 (man of the match), Akumtong 37, Aloto 22, Yongzamong 18 and Longsansunep 14 helped collect Tritons CC the robust total.

Hercules CC were bowled out for 114 runs and lost the match by 47 runs.
