Asish Limboo wins Champion of Champions 2026

Asish Limboo from Sikkim won the Champion of Champions 2026 title at the 2nd Mr Northeast Bodybuilding & Physique Championship 2026 held at Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima on September 12.

Altogether, 69 bodybuilders and fitness athletes from across the eight north eastern states joined the event, organised by Nagaland Bodybuilding & Fitness Association (NBBFA) and Northeast Body Builders Federation (NEBBF) under the aegis of the Indian Body Builders Federation (IBBF).

Medoviu Martin Suohu, Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) councillor Ward 19 and Imnalensa, IGP (Armed Battalion-NAP) graced the event as the special guest and guest of honour respectively.

IBBF president Swamy Ramesh Kumar and NEBBF president Pema WD Bhutia also addressed the opening ceremony.

Earlier, Ruopfuzhano Whiso assisted the opening ceremony as host while NEBBF general secretary Thejakhrietuo Kire delivered welcome address.

Vote of thanks was proposed by Dziesevizo Sekhose, Event Coordinator, 2nd Northeast Bodybuilding & Physique Championship 2026.

The championship aim to promote bodybuilding and fitness among the youth and provide a platform for athletes from the Northeast to compete at higher levels.
