Kohima, November 27 (MExN): The 3rd Kohima Adventure Motor Club (KAMC) torque challenge will be held from November 28 to 30 at Thenyizumi, Sedzu valley under Phek district in collaboration with the Tourism department, Government of Nagaland and the Thenyizumi Youth Social Welfare Organisation.
Announcing the challenge, KAMC said that the event will consist of 3 car categories: Below 1300cc, Open and SUV with a total prize money of Rs 3 Lakh.
The prizes of different categories are as follows: Below 1300cc category: 1st prize 40,000, 2nd prize 30,000, 3rd prize 20,000; Open category: 1st prize 70,000, 2nd prize 50,000 and 3rd prize 30,000; SUV category: 1st prize 30,000, 2nd prize 20,000 and 3rd prize 10,000.
KAMC also informed that there will be two additional trophies for the most promising Driver and Overall best timing. The event will take place in two terrains - first in Tarmac, which will be a sprint for approximately 4.5km and the second will be in Gravel for approximately 3km Uphill.
Registration and scrutiny of vehicles will be done on November 28 while the Tarmac (Sprint) event will be held on November 29 and the Gravel (Uphill) event on November 30.
It also informed that on November 30 there will be a bonus for the spectators which will be an Open Moto Sprint Enduro for our local bike riders.
The KAMC and TYSWO collaborating with the Tourism department government of Nagaland are expecting drivers from all over Northeastern states of India.
