A three day long 3rd North East Masters Table Tennis championship, 2024 commenced here today at Kohima Indoor TT Stadium with Nagaland Masters Table Tennis Association (NMTTA) as host under the aegis of Nagaland Table Tennis Association (NTTA).
All the north eastern states, except Sikkim are vying for the coveted champion title in various categories.
MLA Dr. Tseilhoutuo (Ato) Rhutso, chairman DPDB Kohima graced the opening ceremony as the special guest. Santanu Gosh, convenor North East Masters Table Tennis Forum declared the championship open while Chief Referee Ajay Datta administered oath to the participating teams.
The inaugural function was compered by Vincent Belho while tournament director Dr. Khriezotuo Paphino delivered welcome address.
The championship, featuring 40+, 50+ and 60+ categories with Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Team Events, will continue till November 30.
