45th PCC sports week underway

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 30 (MExN): The 45th annual sports week of Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) kicked off at the college ground here today. 

Principal of the college Husazu Epao speaking at the inaugural session emphasised on sportsmanship and team spirit. He encouraged the students to also prioritise their studies along with co-curricular activities. 

He further stated that the core vision of the college is to make students a successful leader in various walks of life. 

“In order to become a leader for tomorrow, a student must be disciplined, and posses the spirit to perform with discipline whether one wins or loses in any arena of activities”, the principal added and declared the annual sports week open.

Four houses—Kingsmen, Golden Knight, Bethel Royals and Flying Ace will be picking up the challenges in a wide range of games and sports during the sports week. The houses tussled for the winner’s spot in arm wrestling, basketball, football, cricket, volleyball on the day.
