53rd Kükami Trophy concludes

DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 1 (MExN): The 53rd Kükami Trophy was held from November 25 to 30 at Shokhuvi Village. 

The trophy was organised by Aqahuto Area Sports Association under the theme ‘unity through sports.’ On the last day of prize distribution, Akato Zhimomi, Class-I Contractor graced the occasion as a special guest of honor.

Zhimomi said that through the spirit of football games people in the region and stakeholders should come together as one for  upliftment of the area and move forward for  bright future. He added that youths of today have every  opportunity in sports field if they are sincere and committed through hardwork and seek God. 

Shokhuvi village declared were the champions of the football trophy with Kiyeto Village as runners up, while Ghowoto Village won the men's volleyball and Khehoi Village came as runners up. 

The women's volleyball winner was Khehovi village and Shokhuvi Village were the runners up.

Earlier, Kuhoi Zhimo, GB of Khehoi Village Chairman, Dimapur Sumi Council and Ex. DMC member graced the occasion as special guest.
