64th KVSA meet 2020 concludes

A weeklong 64th KVSA meet 2020 under the aegis of Kohima Village Youth Organization (KVYO) was concluded successfully this evening at Khuochiezie, Kohima Local Ground under the mascot “Adielo.”

Around 400 youth from four Khels of Kohima village vied for 45 Gold, 45 Silver and 24 Bronze medals in 26 athletics and six games event.

In Naga wrestling which took place today, Menuosetuo Yiese (D. Khel) emerged the champion title while Keviser Dzüvichü (L. Khel), Vizakietuo Suohu (T. Khel) and Dziesevizo Kire (D. Khel) stood second, third and fourth position respectively.

D. Khel emerged the wrestling team champion and T. Khel as the runner up.

 At the closing ceremony, Kohima Village Council chairman Dr. Neiphi Kire handed over prize to the winners.

KVYO president Dziivinguzo Mepfhuo informed that the next 65th KVSA meet will take place by 2022.
