The Northern Angami Sports Association (NASA) will holding 67th NASA Wrestling Meet (Senior) 2026 on February 4 at Khuochiezie (Kohima Local Ground).
P Bashangmongba Chang, Minister for Housing & Mechanical Engineering, Govt of Nagaland will be the chief guest while Neiyalie Angami, Treasurer, Nagaland Olympic Association will be the guest of honour.
The champion will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh, sponsored by Mengutuo Rio while second position will get Rs. 80,000, sponsored by Zakieneituo Zhale.
The third position will receive Rs. 60,000, sponsored by Kenei Mezhür Sekhose while 4th place will get Rs. 40,000, sponsored by Er. Sabou Yashü.
Prize for quarter finalists at Rs. 20,000 is sponsored by Mhalelhou Mere.
Further, Group Prizes at Rs. 50,000 is sponsored by NASA.
Neisavotuo Whuorie will be the chief judge along with other judges- Thinuoneikuo Sote, Videsielie Terhase, Zhakholie Metha, Dziesekhrietuo Kerhüo, Keneizhalie Kire, Vihielie Tsüikrü, Gevotuo Kense and Kelhousetuo Sere.
Mhasisetuo Solo, Khrietuolie Usou, Petevituo Lhoungu and Vikeduo Seyie will assist as referees.
The inaugural ceremony will start from 9:00 AM.
NASA president Vizosielie Khoubve will deliver presidential address while NASA wrestling Secretary Thepfukhotuo Medom will administer oath to the wrestlers.
Ground management will be done by St. Stephen’s Church, Rüsoma.
