Advisor Imchem along with other officials during a visit to the Research and Training Centre at Sechü Zubza on September 11.
Sechü Zubza, September 11 (MExN): Advisor for Soil and Water Conservation and IPR, Daochier I Imchen, on Friday visited the Research and Training Centre at Sechü Zubza to assess its functioning and ongoing activities.
During the visit, Imchen inspected various units of the centre, including the Biofertilizer Production Unit, Vermicompost Unit, Soil Testing Laboratory and Agroforestry Nursery. He took stock of the existing facilities, their condition and activities being undertaken by the respective units.
The Advisor also interacted with officers and staff and discussed the centre's activities, challenges and welfare, with emphasis on strengthening its programmes and facilities.
The visit provided an opportunity to review the centre's progress and identify areas requiring further strengthening to enhance its role in research, training, soil health management, biofertilizer production and agroforestry development.
The officers and staff expressed appreciation for the Advisor's visit and his interest in the activities and welfare of the centre.
