Kohima, November 26 (MExN): The Drivers Union of the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare held an Advocacy Programme for HIV/AIDS/T.B today at the Conference Hall of DHFW. The programme was attended by Dr. Seyievisa John Jt. Director (RNTCP) and a good number of 50 drivers.
John Mao, President, DDU welcomed the house and Tementangba pronounced invocation that was followed by presentation and a brief sharing by Lanu Suwa.(HM)
Vincent Belho, Director (Family Planning Association of India) shared his experiences and highlighted on the Basic of HIV/AIDS/STI/PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis)
Later, the Drivers Union was warmed up with talks on “Stigma & Discrimination” by Naomi, Social Worker (NNP+) and on RNTCP, HIV/T.B by Dr. Achetla, Asst. Programme Officer (RNTCP). The programme was followed by General discussion and Plan of Action.
