Air rifle shooting, fastest bowler competitions held

Arrenpong Sports Festival 2019 was held today at Yimli Ground, Mopungchuket organized by MALT, the Mopungchuket Students’ Union. 

Open sight air rifle shooting and fastest bowler competitions were the two main events of the day. Imyepong Longkumer and Tiatemjen Jamir, both from Mokokchung town, emerged as the winner and runner-up of the air rifle shooting competition. 

In the fastest bowler competition, Longsen Lemtur from Mopungchuket emerged as the winner, whose fastest delivery was clocked at 99 kmphs. The winners were awarded cash prize and certificates.
