Kohima, October 15 (MExN): The Alder College, Kohima observed its 20th annual day on October 14 last at Dr. Setu Memorial Hall with Chubaienla Jamir, director of Higher Education as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Jamir commented on the growing strength of students as a result of which students need to maintain the four pillars of individual growth ; i.e. Learn to Know, Learn to Do, Learn to Be and Learn to Live.
Other highlights included invocation by Vitsusie Savino, welcome address by Vekhozo Khamo, principal, Alder College, special songs, cultural insights, speeches on behalf of Freshers and outgoing students.
A play entitled – “A pound for a pound” was also staged at the celebration.
