Kohima, November 12 (MExN): The All Nagaland Taxi Association ( ANTA) Hq. Kohima has directed all the District Units of ANTA to observe ANTA Raising Day cum Annual Picnic on November 18. The Association has also warned that if any member or any other vehicle plying as Taxis and violating the norms of the Association will be penalized on that particular day. It further requests the general public to bear the inconveniences.
Wokha: The All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA), Wokha Unit, is set to celebrate its Raising Day cum Annual Picnic on November 18 at ‘My Resort’ in Tzuza Eru, Pangti. The event is being organised by the Sungro Range Taxi Owners and Drivers, it stated.
In a commitment to sustainability, the unit will promote a plastic-free picnic. As part of this initiative, a clean-up drive to remove plastic waste from the Tzuza Eru areas will be conducted. The drive will commence on November 17 and conclude on November 18. This effort underscores ANTA Wokha Unit’s dedication to environmental conservation and community welfare.
The day’s festivities will include a lucky draw, traditional tug-of-war, live music, and other engaging activities. Members and participants are encouraged to join in the spirit of camaraderie and cultural heritage.
To ensure full participation, taxi services under the ANTA Wokha Unit will remain suspended on November 18. The unit has regretted any inconvenience caused to the public. It stated that defaulters and absentees will face penalties as per the unit’s established guidelines.
