AR organises volleyball match at Wangti

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 2 (MExN): The Wokha Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (N) organized a friendly volleyball match between local youths and COB Wangti on December 31. 

The friendly match was played to propagate the theme on “Sports Friendly NE” which is an initiative being  conceptualized by Assam Rifles for the overall benefits of the local youth and primarily to inculcate sporting spirit in the youth. 

In addition, the villagers were also made aware on forthcoming Meritorious Sportspersons recruitment rally which is likely to be such in Apr/May 2020. A total of 10 GBs and 25 Local Youths participated in the match.
