Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): The Assam Rifles conducted a free medical camp at Ghotovi village in Nagaland on September 13, providing health screening, medical consultations and medicines to 95 villagers.
According to a press release issued by the PRO, HQ IGAR (North), the beneficiaries included women, children and elderly persons.
Medical personnel also interacted with villagers and provided guidance on common health concerns, timely medical attention and preventive healthcare.
An awareness session was held on hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, first aid and preventive healthcare.
Villagers were encouraged to maintain personal and environmental cleanliness, follow nutritious dietary practices and adopt basic first-aid and preventive measures, the release stated
The camp also provided an opportunity for interaction between Assam Rifles personnel and local residents, it added.
