Book on five prominent Sumi sportspersons released

Akuluto, March 18 ((MExN):  A book with brief testimonies of five prominent and upcoming Sumi sportspersons titled 'Aküxü Ye Aghili Lakhi Toi Ke' (Game of Life) was launched in the opening ceremony of the 12thSümi Games & Sports Association held at Akuluto on March 17.

 

The Department of Youth Ministry of Western Sümi Baptist AkukuhouKuqhakulu (WSBAK) with the approval of Sümi Baptist Convention (SBC) in partnership with Biblica International Bible Society launched the book.

 

The book was dedicated by N Suhuto Chishi, Youth Secretary, WSBAK. 

 

This Book is a part of upcoming project on Sümi Young Generation Bible by WSBAK Youth Ministry and focus on the teaching of the Gospel of Luke and relating the message with the brief testimonies of five prominent and upcoming Sumi sports persons, a press release informed.

 

Then five sportspersons are: Mughato Aye - State Football Coach GoN, Governor’s Gold Medalist;  Israel G. Xuivi – Taekwon-do: Black Belt 4th Degree, Founder of Naga Kiti – do, The Indigenous Martial Arts;. Khetoho Zhimomi – Kick Boxer: Black Belt 5th Dan, International Bronze Medalist; Joseph Sümi – State Badminton Player; and Kivi Zhimomi – ISL & I-League Footballer.

 

“The book aims to encourage and act as a medium to share the gospel among thefans and sports persons and how sports can also change one’s live,” the release added.
