IGAR (North), Naga FC, Head Hunter, Tehok FC and Upper Khomi today registered wins in their respective matches at the ongoing Capt N Kenguruse Memorial Football Tournament here at Indira Gandhi Stadium.
In the last match of the first round, IGAR (North) advanced to the round of eight defeating Zion Youth FC, Phek 3-2.
In the first pre-quarterfinal match, Head Hunters 164 TA (NAGA) had a comfortable victory over ARC Athibung FC, Peren 6-0.
Playing the third match of the day, 3th edition champions Naga FC, Kohima won a one sided game over Arsenic FC, Zunheboto 5-1.
Tehok FC, Mon registered a convincing victory against Tsurangkong FC, Mokokchung 6-0.
In the fifth match, Upper Khomi FC, Phek registered victory over FC Naginimora, Mon 5-1.
With this win, Upper Khomi FC entered the semi-finals, with DGP team and Mokokchung FC failing to show up.
