Care & Support Society conducts block level sports meet at Ungma

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 11 (MExN): The Care and Support Society organized its annual block level sports meet at Babu Tzubu, Amphitheatre, Ungma village, Mokokchung with an aim to bring up the talents of the Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in different areas of games and sports. 

Imkongnungchet Kichu, President, MDDF chaired the program and Ayangla, Associate Pastor Women Ungma Baptist Church said the invocation.

Arenli Jamir, project coordinator for PwDs delivered the welcome note and words of encouragement and sharing was delivered by Village Council Chairman, Ungma village and Sangpangchang Lkr, EAC Ongpangkong respectively. Both of them encouraged the PwDs to look into their abilities of what they can do and to achieve their goals in their life by participating in different sports and games not only at the district and state level but upto the national level.

The programme ended with distribution of gift hampers to all the winners and the participants.
