Kiphire, February 13 (MExN): A Children’s Park inaugurated at the Loyola Higher Secondary School (LHSS), Kiphire solemnly by Rev Fr Jacob Charallel, Secretary to Commission for Education Diocese of Kohima (CEDOK) and Chancellor of the Diocese of Kohima.
Blessing the site, Rev Fr Charallel noted that the Park was more than just a playground but a “heaven where children can explore, learn and grow.”
It is vibrant space designed to foster creativity, imagination and joy for the young minds, he said.
The opening Children’s Park is the testimony of the Diocese’s commitment to provide a well-round education that addresses the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the students, he added.
Earlier, Rev Fr Philip Magh, the Principal of LHSS welcomed gathering while the children presented a song. Prayer for the various intentions was offered by Rev Fr Thomas Toretkiu.
