Dimapur, September 16 (MExN): City Law College, Dimapur launched its second Annual College Magazine for the academic year 2024-2025. The magazine, themed “Law in the age of transformation: Where legal traditions meet tomorrow’s challenges,” highlights the changes and reforms in law. It includes the insightful articles on current legal developments and Supreme Court rulings.
The event was chaired by student Sharon Lalsangmawi and began with an invocation by Mezhulhousieno Nakhro, Assistant Professor. A welcome address was delivered by Tongpangkumba Imchen, Assistant Professor and Convenor of the Editorial Board, who emphasized the significance of the occasion, stated a press release.
Abigail Yepthomi, Assistant Professor and Editorial Board member, presented the editorial address, outlining the meticulous process of creating the magazine. The Editorial Board extended its gratitude to all members and contributors for their efforts.
The magazine was formally unveiled by the Principal, Dr T Limanochet Jamir. He commended the hard work of the Editorial Board and students involved in the project. Dr Jamir also used the opportunity to encourage all students to cultivate a habit of writing, emphasizing that it nurtures critical thinking and the ability to articulate ideas effectively.
