CK Nayudu Trophy: 89-run lead for Nagaland at stumps on Day three

Dimapur, December 21 (MExN): Nagaland today managed a crucial 89 runs lead on day 3 in its match against Sikkim in the ongoing Men’s U-23 Col CK Nayudu Trophy 2019-20 at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima.

 


Winning the toss and electing to bat, Nagaland posted 280 runs in the first innings.  

 


In reply, Sikkim took a 30 runs scoring 310 in 110.3 overs. 

 


The highlight of the 1st innings was a sensational bowling display from Hopong Sangtam (Nagaland), who took 8 wickets.

 


At stumps on Day-3, Nagaland was struggling with   119/7 in 48 overs, though they manage to establish an 89 runs lead.  

 


The match will resume on Sunday.
