A ‘Seven Stone’ competition in progress during the 6th CKT Triennial Conference at Ngur Tembang, Changtongya, on December 28.
Changtongya, December 29 (MExN): The second day of the 6th Triennial Conference of the Changtongya Students’ Union (Changtongya Kaketshir Telongjem, CKT) on December 28 saw participants from various units competing in sporting events at the local ground, Ngur Tembang.

The event was officially opened by Imokaba, Commissioner of Income Tax, Kolkata, who exhorted the students by stressing that success in any profession hinges on hard work, discipline, dedication, commitment, and determination.
He compared the consistent efforts needed in various fields, such as sports, academics, and agriculture, stressing the importance of time management and punctuality in achieving success.

The Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer also highlighted that discipline plays a crucial role in progress and urged the students to embrace punctuality and efficient use of time. He also advised the students to avoid intoxicants, affirming that living a disciplined life is essential.
Dedication and commitment involve productively using one’s God-given talent, he added.
Determination, Imokaba noted, involves striving with grit, regardless of the circumstances, to achieve one’s goals.

The day’s sporting events included Seven Stone, Relay Races, Penalty Shootouts, and a Fitness Race.
Exhibition matches were also held, featuring a relay race between Watsü Telen and Chantongya Baptist Church (CBC) Women’s functionaries, as well as a match between Kosasanger Village Council and the Board of Deacons, CBC.
The sports day marked the conclusion of the two-day 82nd Annual General Meeting and the 6th Triennial Conference of CKT.
