Tuensang, March 29 (MExN): The Tuensang District Administration has set up a COVID-19 Isolation Ward at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Chare under Tuensang district on March 28.
Altogether 48 beds are kept ready in the eventuality of requirement, a press release informed.
Nockpai Konyak, EAC, Chare while taking stock of the quarantine facility thanked the staff of PHC Chare, and the Principal and staff of JNV Chare for extending support and maintaining good hygiene and sanitation in the dormitories as well as the campus.
“If we help each other, show kindness and determination, there isn’t a challenge we won’t overcome,” Konyak stated.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are fully residential and co-educational schools in every district. They are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and operated by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), an autonomous body under the HRD Ministry.
