Dimapur, November 4, (MExN): The District Education Officer in a press note stated that a co-ordination meeting was convened with all the heads of the GHS & GHSS Dimapur on October 29,2011 at the DEO’s Office Chamber.
The DEO dwelt on the last HSLC & HSSLC results and requested all the heads of the schools to put their best effort and continue to provide coaching classes to the selected students so as to produce better results. It was also stated that in the discussion of the meeting, the Heads of the school resented for continual engagement of teachers’ in census and electoral duties. They sated that it hampered the academic career of the students more particularly when the end term exams and coaching classes were in full swing.
It was further mentioned din the note that the meeting was jointly organized with RMS, Dimapur District and Thungchio Shitire, District Coordinator and JEO emphasized on the RMSA programme for all children of the Secondary Education in the age group of 14-16. DEO also informed all the heads of the school to start preparing the school annual works plan and perspective plan as per the guide line given by the technical support group (TSG) New Delhi on the basis of the need based and prioritize the school requirements for onward submission.
