Dhansiripar, September 11 (MExN): The Dhansiripar Sub-Division GBs Union has issued a press release refuting recent claims made by the Lamhai People’s Organization.
On August 21, the Lamhai People’s Organization asserted that the traditional boundary of Lamhai village extends up to the Dhansiri River.
The Dhansiripar Sub-Division GBs Union disputes this assertion, labeling it as "a figment of imagination and fairy tale." They demanded that the Lamhai People’s Organization provide historical or official boundary demarcation evidence from the time of the village's recognition to substantiate their claim.
The union emphasized that repeated, unfounded claims regarding land boundaries are fueling discord and disrupting peace among local tribes. They urged for definitive resolutions to these disputes to ensure lasting harmony and stability in the region.
