Dimapur, February 25 (MExN): Unity College, Dimapur held its second annual youth fest ‘Unifest 2.0’ under the theme ‘invigorating young minds’ on February 22 and 23.
A press release from the college stated that the day-one events comprised of art competition, cosplay, dance competition, essay writing, extempore speech, fitness challenge, food-eating challenge, photography exhibition and slam poetry. Yemjong Chang ‘The Illusionist’ enchanted the audience with some eye-deceiving tricks and illusions. The day concluded with performance by the pop rock band ‘The Gluttones.’
The second day of the fest witnessed a variety of competitions in the genres of indigenous food cooking, indigenous games, Voice of Unity V.8.0 and Unifest Mega Model. This was followed by the distribution of prizes and certificates to the winners, after which the crowd was treated to an electrifying performance by Moko Koza, rapper and songwriter from Nagaland.
‘The fest concluded with a thrilling experience for the students grooving and dancing to the tune of DJ Rhon,’ the release stated.
