Dimapur, November 2 (MExN): The biggest rock band in the North East region right now, Divine Connection from Nagaland and another upcoming band Alobo Naga & the Band would be performing in a concert on December 10 in Dimapur as part of commemorating World Human Rights Day.
Organizers of the concert, Peace Channel will be presenting the two upcoming bands at the Holy Cross Grounds under the theme “stop violence against children and youth.”
Director of Peace Channel Rev. Fr. C.P. Anto said during the press conference that the organizers aspire to reach out to each and every one in Nagaland with the message of peace “by 2015 through our peace to all 2015 campaign.” The organizers also want to raise funds to hold “peace band shows” across Nagaland “to create awareness among larger sections people on peace and harmony.”
Tickets to the concerts are priced at Rs.100 per head and Rs. 500 for two aside from “Sponsor Cards.” The price for tickets for Peace Club Members is Rs. 50.
