DVYSO wrestling meet 2019 held at Dihoma

The 52nd wrestling meet 2019 of Dihoma Village Youth & Sports Organization (DVYSO) took place today at Dihoma Local Ground under Kohima district.
Gracing the occasion as the special guest, Neiketouzo Kenguruse, PS to Chief Minister Nagaland maintained that wrestlers are blessed lot of persons for their fitness and vigor to compete for fame and glory of not only for themselves but for the community at large.
He called upon the wrestlers to maintain proper diet and avoid intoxicating substances.
Kenguruse also called upon them to fear God and at the same time pay respect and seek blessings of their parents and elders in their chase for excellence.
He told them not to feel complacent with one time achievement but to stay humble and give more effort to attain greater success.

He also urged upon them to focus on constant practice and give fullest dedication to excel in the field of wrestling.
Earlier, DVYSO president Virheilie Theiinuo delivered the welcome address.
The inaugural function was chaired by DVYSO vice president Petevituo Lhoungu while DVYSO advisor Seyiekietuo Kesitsu administered oath to the wrestlers.
Later, Rheilhou Lhoungu gave away prize to the winners.
