Help Our Earth

Earth! Earth! Earth! We say,
But What! What! What! We do?
Shouldn’t we do something for our earth?
Aren’t we the ones this home we dwell in?
So let us be together,
And help it,
That it will shine,
And be green again.
Then What! What! What now will the earth be?
Yes, Green! Green! Green! Our Earth will be…

A Short Essay on Earth Day

Over 50% of the world’s populations live in urban areas and account for 75% of all energy used and greenhouse emissions. The natural resources of the state and nation should be used wisely and with due consideration for the future, and the wise use of these resources should be the concern of the government at the local, state and national level.
We have already wasted and destroyed vast amounts of natural resources, and in doing so have put the earth at risk. We must preserve the earth for the coming generations. Climate change will turn fertile fields into deserts and flood coastal areas where hundreds of millions live. We have to choose sustainable development if we want a future for our people.
Nations are losing more from pollution than they are gaining from industrialization. Climate change will affect the whole planet. Economic growth is important but not at the cost of our environment. Since the last two decades the signs of environmental degradation have started showing. Significant changes in the natural environment are occurring due to man’s intervention on Environment.  Man’s desire for comfort has led him to exploit nature’s free resources to the extent of reducing its natural capacity for self-destruction. In the end I would like to request all o you to do whatever you can to save the planet so that the future generation will not held us responsible for the destruction of Mother Earth.

THE BLISS OF GREENARY

The breeze that blew is soothing and blissful
The flowers that bloomed Is vibrant and colourful
And the lush green grass filled with drops of dew
The tall green branches swinging in the breeze
Birds twittering in the shade

But Alas! The smoke now that blew
From chimney and vehicle
Filling the air with pollution
The air that we breathe Is a matter of dread
Its nothing like the years by gone
The effect of radiation and industrialization
Taking its toll in the life of younger generation.
Oh! Men on earth give us a life
To breathe freely and live happily.
Plants trees today for our better tomorrow.
