ENSA elected a new team of office bearers for the 2025-2028 tenure during its 7th general conference held at the Dimapur Government College Auditorium on October 25 last.
Dimapur, November 5 (MExN): The Eastern Naga Students’ Association (ENSA) elected a new team of office bearers for the 2025-2028 tenure during its 7th general conference held at the Dimapur Government College Auditorium on October 25 last.
The conference, themed “Strengthening Unity through Cultural Diversity,” was graced by Neingulo Krome, Secretary General of the Naga Peoples Movement for Human Rights (NPMHR), as the special guest and Chuba Ozukum, Convenor of the Global Naga Forum (GNF), as the guest of honour.
The conference witnessed the solidarity message and the presence of special invitees of NSF,ENSF, ANSAM, DNSU and NSO, the participation of around 450 delegates represented units and subordinates’ bodies from Nagaland and beyond artificial boundaries.
Meanwhile, a new office bearer for the tenure 2025 – 2028 was also installed with Atimiu Makury as President, he will be assisted by Natong Shungwang as Vice President and Letwang Ranshoong as General Secretary.
Lamtheo was selected as Assistant General Secretary while finance Secretary and Assistant Finance Secretary went to Chingpai S Konyak and Sithaw Somra. Ayan Boba and Puchou were selected as Education and statistical Secretary, assistant Education, and statistical Secretary respectively.
Other office bearers include N Pulei Konyak as Information and publicity Secretary and Kenset as assistant Information and publicity Secretary. Chingloi was selected as Executive Chairman while Executive Secretary went to Hempao Khiamniungan. Suhlithong was appointed as Games and sports Secretary and Y Nyakpong wangsa as asst. Games and sports Secretary. Tsuchoi Khiam and Cwe kela shared as Women coordinator and Assistant Women Coordinator. Social and Cultural Secretary went to Theu James and Yeilo as Assistant Social and Cultural Secretary.
The conference concluded with a dedication prayer for the new team offered by Wirl Thaw Mu, Assistant Professor at Shalom Bible Seminary.
