The Mokokchung District T20 Cricket Federation will be organizing the 4th Master Shield Trophy 2020 at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung beginning February 10. 

Curtain raiser for the tournament was held today at the Circuit House conference hall, Mokokchung with Rongsennungla Imchen, Deputy Project Director, ATMA Mokokchung as special guest. Unveiling of the Master Shield Trophy and drawing of fixtures were also done at the curtain raiser today. 

A total of 9 teams divided into two pools will be playing in the tournament. To be played in the league cum knock out format, the tournament will begin with the inaugural match being played between defending champions Vincent CC and Time Team. 

Vincent CC, Time Team, Troopers CC, Skylark CC and Züngamedem CC have been grouped at Pool A while Trebuchet CC, Titans CC, Tritons CC and Skyhawks from Wokha have been grouped at Pool B.

The tournament will feature 3rd Umpire TV review and the players will be rewarded a rupee each for every run scored. The champions will be rewarded cash prize and trophy.
