Ho Chi Minh City, January 2 (MExN): Indian Pop rock band from Nagaland, Trance Effect closed out their 2025 live calendar with a standout performance at the HOZO Music Têt Festival, one of Vietnam’s largest and most anticipated music events on December 31 last.
Widely regarded as the biggest music festival in Ho Chi Minh City, the HOZO Music Têt Festival draws thousands of music lovers each year and showcases leading domestic and international acts. Trance Effect’s appearance on the festival’s massive main stage marked a significant milestone for the band, both in scale and artistic impact.
According to a band member, this was the largest stage Trance Effect has ever performed on. The awe-inspiring setup, designed like a three to four storey structure, featured layered LED screens spanning the entire backdrop, creating a fully immersive visual experience for both the performers and the audience.
The crowd responded with overwhelming enthusiasm, describing the band’s sound as “young, fresh, and groovy.” Fan favourites “Overrated” and “More Love” emerged as highlights of the night, with “More Love” transforming into a powerful sing-along moment as the audience echoed every word back to the band.
While the HOZO Music Têt Festival marked Trance Effect’s final show of 2025, the band shows no signs of slowing down. They carry this momentum into the new year and are set to perform next at the Mithun Festival in Laisong on January 8, 2026.
With a steadily growing international presence and an increasingly devoted live following, Trance Effect continues to cement their reputation as one of the most exciting emerging acts from the region.
