Dimapur, November 6 (MExN):  A one-day autumn retreat for youths was organised by Dimapur Town Nepali Baptist Church Duncan, Gorkha Baptist Church Thahekhu, Gorkha Baptist Church Viola, and Nepali Baptist Church Kuda at Life Spring Corner, Dimapur on November 5.

In a press release received here, it stated that main motive of the one-day autumn retreat was to build strong bonds of friendship and unity among the Gorkha and Nepali Churches and added that the programme was a resounding success.

It stated that the resource person, Bendang Jamir of TROTB Ministry, spoke on the inspiring topic of "Becoming Successful" on the first session and added that he shared valuable insights on "Right Priorities" helping the youth to refocus on what truly matters in the second session.

The programme began with an uplifting praise and worship session led by Kamal Sharma, youth pastor of DTNBC Duncan and Nito Sundas of NBC Kuda, while Jonah Thapa of GBC Viola, moderated the programme and kept the proceedings smooth and engaging. 

It also stated that the games session was led by Seroba T Sangtam of SSE Team, bringing laughter and joy to all participants. 

Pastor Andrew Shimray of GBC Viola exhorted the event, followed by a heartfelt vote of thanks by Kamal Sharma, youth pastor of DTNBC Duncan while the youth pastor Nito Sundas of NBC Kuda delivered the closing prayer.
