Dimapur, November 5 (MExN): The second day of the Gospel and Healing Crusade at DDSC in Dimapur saw an impressive turnout. The speaker for the evening was Dr Ade Banjo from New Jersey, United States and the translator was C Sashi Naga, vice president of Eastern Naga People's Organization.
Dr Ade Banjo spoke about faith in God and that “it requires human cooperation for divine intervention”.
He said that Jesus died on the cross not for half redemption but he died so that we get total redemption and complete salvation. Adding that most of the time we forget God but “God is a merciful and it is his desire to set us free.”
He said if anyone has come here believing in man then he would not get any healing or miracle from God, stating that “…who comes to God must believe”. Further he also pointed out that one should not doubt God as the Bible says: “…without faith it is impossible to please him.”
The speaker also narrated an incident that happened yesterday. A father brought his son, who was unable to walk properly, to him so that he can pray for the young boy. He said God answered their prayers and healed the boy. He asked the boy and the father to come to the stage and show to the audience what miraculous work God has done.
Earlier special numbers were presented by Phom Baptist Church youth, Telegu Baptist Church Dimapur members and students of New Life Bible College. The crusade will culminate tomorrow and there will be two services, morning service - 9:00 am at North East Harvest Bible Institute, Dimapur and evening service at DDSC, 4:30 pm.
