DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 10 (MExN): GPRN/NSCN has mourned the untimely demise of Nisheto Chishi, Under Secretary in the Central Secretariat, GPRN. Son of Khevishe Chishi of Atuphumi Village, Northern Sumi Region, he joined the national service in the year 1995 and for some years in the early 2000's became inactive but in 2007, he rejoined the national movement with greater commitment and dedication, informed a press note issued by the MIP.
He was transferred to central secretariat and was faithfully discharging his responsibilities when major health problem confronted him. His health deteriorated and he passed away on Sunday the 4th December 2011. He leaves behind his wife and two little daughters. All rank and file of GPRN/NSCN bids adieu to this faithful servant of the Naga nation. “Naga history acknowledges his commitment and patriotism. May his soul rest in peace. GPRN/NSCN prays for strength and courage to be granted to his family at this hour of grief”, stated the condolence message.
