Dimapur, November 1 (MExN): The first nursing home and first laboratory in Dimapur - Dr. Agarwal’s Scanlab Diagnostic Solutions has installed a digital X-ray and 4-D ultrasonography today. The new art of health care facilities have been introduced for the first time in Nagaland under the supervision of two in-house Radiologists – Dr Nitin Agarwal and Dr Khushboo Agarwal.
Member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly Azheto inaugurated the equipment at the nursing home premises in the presence of well-wishers and eminent doctors based in Dimapur. He thanked the Agarwals and stated that the Dr. Agarwal’s Scanlab will help people to cut down on expenses as most of the time due to unavailability of amenities; people opt for medical treatment outside the state.
Dr Agarwal, while welcoming the guests said that the installation of the new equipment will serve people better. Elaborating on the functions of the new appliances, Dr Nitin Agarwal said that the digital X-ray and 4-D ultrasonography will give more clarity in diagnosing ailments. He added that the 4-D ultrasonography will help in identifying cleft lip and palate or any external or internal abnormalities in a fetus.
In addition, Dr Khushboo Agarwal said that digital X-ray will prevent a patient from taking repeated photographic films and digital X-ray sensors will be more accurate in portraying the patient’s ailments.
