Dimapur March 8 (MExN): The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and Nagaland University, SASARD, Medziphema Campus has formed a partnership in agricultural education through the induction of Nagaland University (NU) SASARD as one of the Central Universities in the National Agricultural Research System (NARS) Network under ICAR.
It is the fourth in the Network after Aligarh Muslim University, Banaras Hindu University and Vishwa Bharti.
Dr DN Upadhyay, Dean, SASARD, NU informed that Dr GC Tewari Assistant Director General, Edu. Planning & Development visited SASARD and announced the recognition.
A cheque of Rs 50 Lakhs was also handed over as the first installment of the financial package.
