Juggernauts CC retain T20 WCC championship

Wokha, January 18 (MExN): Juggernauts CC, the reigning champions, today successfully defended their title at the concluding day of the 24th T20 Winter Cricket Challenge,  at the Wokha Local ground on January 18.

In the final, the team defeated Hercules CC by six wickets to retain the title. 

Winning the toss Hercules CC, opted to bat first setting a target of 96 runs in 18.4 overs.

In reply, Juggernauts reached the target in 15.5 overs losing four wickets. 

A 51-run knock by Sunny and 22 by Himanshu helped the team reached the target comfortably. 

Sunny won the man of the match award for his 51 runs effort and also claiming two wickets.
