Kekhrie Yhoshü wins KYO wrestling meet

Kekhrie Yhoshü emerged as the champion of the 80th Senior cum Under 16 Wrestling Meet, 2020 of the Kigwema Youth Organization (KYO) on January 17 at Kigwema Local Ground.

The two-day wrestling meet witnessed senior wrestling event on the second day, while the U-16 wrestling was held on January 16.

Kekhrie Yhoshü downed Ketouvilie Kere in the final bout to take the title for senior category,

Kekheneito Kere stood in third and Kekhrielelie Chale in fourth position respectively.

For under-16 category, Pelevoto Kiso defeated Thejanguzo Pfükha in the final match to take the title, Khisamhale Kere and Kevizekho Yhoshü in third and fourth position respectively.

Earlier Deputy District Agriculture Officer, Wokha Viwheto Thorie graced the occasion as the special guest and Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA) President Rokovikho Chale as the guest of honour.
