The organizers of the ongoing 1st Kohima U-15 Cricket Tournament at Jakhama today informed that the remaining matches has been deferred till further notice. The deferment was in line with the state government directive to put on hold public gatherings, including social and sports activities as a preventive measure against the COVID-19 pandemic.
In today’s match, Holy Family School defeated Chandmari Higher Secondary School by 6 wickets. Chandmari HSS had posted 75 for the loss of 8 wickets. Yangtsase scored 13 runs, Bushem and Kivinito took 3 and 2 wickets. Holy Family reached the target in 10 overs losing 4 wickets. Bushem was declared Man of the match.
