Dimapur, October 26 (MExN): The Kohima Press Club (KPC), Dimapur Press Club (DPC), and Nagaland Tribune have expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Zuboni Kikon, mother of Meribeni T. Kikon, Wokha Correspondent of The Morung Express and part-time contributor to Nagaland Tribune, who passed away on October 26, 2025, in Dimapur.
In a condolence message, the Kohima Press Club stated that it is deeply pained to learn of the passing of Zuboni Kikon and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. “It is our prayer that God would grant you strength, comfort and peace during this difficult time of grief. May your beloved mother rest in peace,” it stated.
The Dimapur Press Club also expressed sadness over the passing of Zuboni Kikon and extended heartfelt condolences to Meribeni and her family. “We pray that the Almighty grants them comfort, strength, and peace in their grief. May the soul of the departed rest in eternal peace,” the DPC message read.
Meanwhile, the Nagaland Tribune family stated that it is deeply saddened by the demise of Zuboni Kikon. “The Chief Editor and staff of Nagaland Tribune convey our sincerest condolences to the bereaved family and we offer our prayers to the Almighty God to grant them solace at this time of deep sorrow. We also pray that the departed soul may rest in peace,” the message added.
