Dzüvi Kro-u win women’s volleyball championship

Dzüvi Kro-u today emerged the champion of the women’s volleyball on the fourth day of the ongoing 50th anniversary celebration of Kiruphema Youth Organisation (KYO) at Kiruphema Ground.
Women’s volleyball final match patron Molumenla Esther Kehie, Senior Instructor, Govt. Industrial Training Institute, Kohima handed over medal to the champions.
The 50th anniversary celebration, which commenced on December 17 last with Nagaland’s women resource development & horticulture minister Salhoutuonuo Kruse as the special guest, features wide array of traditional wrestling, games and athletic events with the participation of 8 peer groups.
The event showcase of sportsmanship, teamwork, and cultural pride, attracting the local community and neighboring areas.
Meanwhile, Dzüvi-u Zhünyü, President, Western Angami ‘D’ Public Organisation and former KYO president will grace the closing ceremony on December 21 at 2:00 PM.
The programme will be chaired by Neivikhotuo Vielie, co-convenor organizing committee while vote of thanks will be proposed by Keneiselhou Hozoyie, secretary, organizing committee.
The programme will be followed by bonfire and fireworks display.
