Megovizo Visienyü today emerged as the senior category champion of the Kiruphema Youth Organization (KYO) 50th anniversary wrestling meet 2024.
This event is part of the ongoing 50th anniversary celebration of KYO, which commenced today at Kiruphema Ground.
Megotsolie Suohumvü, Menuoselie Hojha and Rüüzetuo Visienyü bagged 2nd, 3rd and 4th position respectively.
In Junior category, Medokerhe Dahou bagged the champion title while Ruopfüsetuo Hesielie, Kevisizo Dahou and Kevimerhü Yavio stood 2nd, 3rd and 4th position respectively.
Altogether, 40 wrestlers joined the senior category and eight for junior category.
KYO wrestling secretary Nourhe Suohumvii administered oath to the participants.
Nagaland Wrestling Referee Board led by Surhoneyi Soho officiated this Naga wrestling event.
