DIMAPUR, MAY 7 (MExN): The Lotha Baptist Churches Association (LBCA) has expressed grief at the situation in and conveyed sorrow for the unfortunate incident that is happening in the land. A press release from the association further conveyed condolences to the bereaved families of those killed during the violence.
“The most disheartening news is that the continued arson and violence has taken its toll on the Christian community of Manipur, the Churches and its Institutions,” the LBCA stated. It said that “in this hour of trials please be reminded that the Lotha Baptist Churches Association is with you morally and in fervent prayers. We also fervently pray that our loving God will heal the land and the people of Manipur.”
“Do not be dismayed, for our living God is with you always. In every situation, He will send His Holy Spirit to guide and protect you. In this hour of trials, it is our prayer that the Manipur Baptist Convention and all the Associations under it will take refuge and strength in the word of God, and steadfastly seek His guidance to lead us through,” the association stated.
