Lecture on ‘Mixed Methods Research’ held in NU

Department of Education, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, organised a guest lecture on ‘Mixed Methods Research’ on October 7.

Kohima, October 8 (MExN): The Department of Education, Nagaland University, Kohima Campus, organised a guest lecture on ‘Mixed Methods Research’ on October 7.

The lecture was delivered by Dr MA Sudhir, Department of Education, UGC Emeritus Professor, Gandhigram Rural Institute (deemed to be University), Tamil Nadu. The programme was chaired by Prof. Lungsang Zeliang, Head of the Department of Education, and attended by faculty members and research scholars. Prof Zeliang introduced Prof Sudhir in an inspiring and heartfelt manner, recalling his long-standing connection with Northeast India. 

Dr MRN Babu delivered the welcome note, highlighting Prof Sudhir’s distinguished academic journey and contributions.

In his address, Prof Sudhir extended greetings from Gandhigram Rural University and warmly invited participants to visit his university. He reflected on his enriching experiences in Northeast India calling it as his “golden period”. He emphasized the importance of research in driving societal progress and urged scholars to pursue their work with diligence and intellectual curiosity. His lecture on Mixed Methods Research was insightful and engaging, illustrated with relevant real-life examples that deepened participants’ understanding of the topic.
