I am writing to draw your urgent attention to the escalating traffic crisis in our area. The daily commuting has become increasingly difficult, and we are facing severe problems due to the lack of proper traffic control.
The primary issues plaguing our roads include:
• Rampant violations: Motorists frequently break traffic rules such as jumping signals illegal parking and ignoring one-way directions.
• Overspeeding and reckless driving: Despite the speed limit guidelines, many drivers endanger pedestrians and other commuters by overspeeding and unsafe overtaking.
• School zone hazards: The lack of traffic personnel outside educational institutions during rush hours puts young people at risk.
• Traffic congestion: Traffic jams have become a daily occurrence, causing significant delays and severe inconvenience.
These chaotic conditions not only cause immense stress but also increase the risk of road accidents, while the current level of traffic surveillance and law enforcement and enforcement remain insufficient to deter offenders.
I earnestly request your good office to deploy more traffic personnel at crucial intersections, implement stricter penalties for traffic rule violators, and conduct regular traffic enforcement drives to ensure road discipline.

Subject: Recurring Problem of waterlogging in Dimapur
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to draw your attention to the recurring problem of waterlogging. Certain areas of Dimapur ace facing waterlogging due to the dumping of garbage in the drainage system, blocking the flow of water when it rains.
The blocked drainages cause the water level to rise rapidly after heavy rainfall, leading to major disruption in the lives of people across several parts of Dimapur. Over to a lack of proper urban planning, combined with a lack of civic responsibility among some residents, the situation is made worse. People recklessly throw their waste into the drainage channels when there is already an existing pile of garbage, adding to the menace of waterlogging.
I would like to suggest a few measures for tackling this problem:
• Construct new drainage systems with proper planning
• Set up cleanliness drives throughout the areas of Dimapur.
• Launch public awareness campaigns through posters and community programmes.
• Impose strict penalty fines on defaulters.
These measures would go a long way towards creating a cleaner and healthier environment.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could look into this matter and consider the suggestions provided.
Your prompt action would greatly contribute to the betterment and progress of our society.

Subject: improper Waste Disposal and Lack of Waste Segregation Practices
Respected Sir,
| am writing to you to draw your attention to the growing problem of improper waste disposal in our locality. Many residents dispose of their household waste on roadsides and in open spaces. Furthermore, there is no proper system for segregating biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste. As a result, “garbage” accumulates rapidly, resulting in overflowing bins and unhygienic conditions across multiple areas.
The overflowing waste emits foul odours attracting flies, mosquitoes and stray animals and posing serious health risks to residents. During the rainy season, the garbage also blocks drains, leading to waterlogging and increasing the risk of disease outbreaks.
I would like to suggest a few measures lo address this issue:
• Provide separate bins for biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste in all residential areas.
• Organize periodic cleanliness drives with the participation of local residents and community organizations.
• Ensure the regular collection and transportation of waste by municipal workers.
• Implement optical sorting facilities where recyclables go to automated centres using optical lasers and Al to separate plastics by chemical compound.
• Sort food waste automatically and channel inlo dedicated facilities that convert 97% of it into fertilizer and animal feed.
I would be grateful if you could look into this matter at the earliest and take necessary steps to implement the suggestions mentioned above.
