Loyem Memorial Trophy: Hügel Hifliers FC secure semi final place

TUENSANG, OCTOBER 22 (MExN): Hügel Hifliers FC defeated United Saksi FC 3-1 to secure their first ever semi-final appearance at the Loyem Memorial Trophy today. Both teams needed a win to go further in the tournament; however a draw could also have sent Hifliers ahead.

Bamo Lemba scored for the Hifliers in the 15th minute and added another 28th minute before going to half time break but a sudden attack from Saksi left the defence open which led Tsali slot one in the 29th minute to deficit the score 2-1.

The Hifliers picked up from where they left and found another goal through a superb free kick from the boots of Hopong in the 45th minute. They will face the defending champions Nyenshen FC in the semi-final.

Meanwhile, Nyenshen FC, Khulio King FC, Hügel Hifliers FC and DEF, Tuensang have already booked their places in the semi-finals.
