DIMAPUR, MAY 7 (MExN): The Meitei Baptist Church (MBC) conducted a special prayer programme on May 7 “for divine power to bring peace and harmony” in the state of Manipur.
A press release from the MBC said it is “deeply pained to see the loss of innocent life and homeless people.” It appealed to all the communities and churches in the region to extend co-operation in prayer to bring back to normalcy in Manipur. “Further, we appeal people through this press release not to spread any news, fake news or any information or comments through social media that could create hatred out of emotion,” the MBC urged.
