Dimapur, October 20 (MExN): The Convener and the Co-Convener brought up the issue regarding the Chandel under 41, 42, STs Constituencies and invoked the ideas and view on how to bring possible solution to this problem in the consultative meeting for tribal unity and building of Chandel District on October 8th 2011(Saturday) at Sektaikarong village.
The Chandel Naga Tribals of Lamkang, Chothe, Moyon, Monsang, Tarao, Aimol and Kom represented by village chiefs, tribal leaders, senior citizens, women leaders and social workers were present in the meeting under the Convener, Co-Convener , Bonny Dilbung former executive member NSF and social worker, R. Marim chief of Lunghu village and L. V . Paul respectively stated the press note issued by Bonny Dilbung, Convener, CDMPF
It was pointed out in the press note that the members endorsed that it is high time for the minority community to come together and make efforts to take up the issue at the earliest. After careful deliberation, the house unanimously agreed to form a common political forum for 41, 42 STs Assembly constituency of Chandel district.
